PROCESS
The hand lettering in this piece took multiple revisions. Spacing, alignment, and balance all presented unique problems that required patient troubleshooting and dedicated persistence.
SKETCHES
Pretty straightforward sketches. I am very happy I chose to go with the barber pole over the head clippers. If I had went with the head clippers I could imagine everyone saying "Why is there a microphone on this barber shop sign?"
